Pemodelan Matematika Perpindahan Panas pada Stenosis Arteri Karotis

Carotid artery stenosis is the narrowing of lumen (inner surface) carotid artery. Usually caused by atherosclerosis, which an atheromatose plaque due to inflammation consisting necrotics, fats and cholesterol crystals. Occlusion arterial lumens makes brain lack blood supply causing damage function. Sometimes, a long period can cause permanent vascular tissue in brain. Stenosis also poses dangerous threat health, namely stroke. Narrowed arteries have certain temperature. The emergence mathematical modeling as new science one alternative solving this problem. By modeling, researchers obtained formula that describes state heat transfer according actual conditions regardless important factors system. In study, model was built on above problem analyze occurs stenosis.
